Taste of Tokyo Disney, Takao-ow-ow...

Okay, here is a pic to wet your appetite for more! This is Eric and Jackson at Tokyo Disney Sea Tuesday. I will post more and update this weekend. Suffice it to say, we all had a blast, and Jackson LOVED it! I thought he would be a bit too young to enjoy it, but he was laughing and clapping and dancing and squealing...

Okay one more! Here is Jackson at dinner after our day at Mt. Takao. This restaurant was traditional Japanese style, and Jackson loved the tatami mats. Check out those mean little choppers!! (He has four now, two up top, two below...)

I truly am a Sooner born, a Sooner bred, and when I die, I'll be a Sooner dead. Can't live without my BlackBerry. I love my little family. My marriage is amazing, my husband is my everything. We are, in fact, that couple that makes everyone else vomit... :) We're tight. We have a gorgeous happy healthy son who is the center of our everything. When he smiles he has dimples like me, but mostly looks like "Little Eric". He's so AMAZING. We have a beautiful daughter in Heaven. We have an incredible hound, Dixie - she's cute as a button and smart as a whip, especially for a dog... Pirates make me smile. Nice manners mean something. I'm perty darn good at making gift baskets, so be nice! Thank you notes are important, and say a lot about who you are. I will eat dessert anytime, especially for breakfast. I love cheeeeeeese. I love random phrases and simple poetry. I love old movies and indie music. I love red wine, white wine, good wine, more wine. Halloween is the best - costumes AND candy? Are you kidding me? I'm always saying "Are you kidding me?" Fake people make me irritated, fake body parts are even worse. EWW! Get real or get lost. My family is number one, all hundred sisters and their kiddies, the folks. I would go home to visit my parents in a heartbeat, and as often as possible. I look at my baby and know how my Bobbin loves me. Electronic Catch Phrase is a "fun as!" game. I'm really good at Gin Rummy. I like doing laundry; not so much putting it away. I'm giving, and sometimes get suckered. I grew my hair way too long and cut off a foot to donate to Locks of Love in Lily's name. Glad to do it, but won't grow it that long again - unless I become a hippie, because that's about what it looked like! I love to get my hair cut. I'm good with a hair brush, a nail polish brush, a make up brush, a microphone (all for intended purposes, don't be gross). I am a girlie girl. I like skirts and pink, hair barrettes and jewelry. Actually, I like most accessories. Sometimes I just say RAAAARRRRRR! I am a goof up and don't mind making people laugh, but I'm fairly prim and proper none the less. I love being pregnant. I am amazed at how many different versions of my figure I have seen so far in my life. I love to travel, I love to live in other countries. I love people from everywhere. I love babies. My babies, other people's babies, all babies. I want to adopt babies. I really like planting flowers, growing flowers, getting flowers. I don't mind getting dirty but I don't like to sweat. Give me a fan, please. I support the March of Dimes, St. Jude's, and the Humane Society. And the Girl Scouts - cooooookies. I'm pretty computer savvy, but who isn't these days. I love hugs and hate departures. I cry but for good reasons, and it makes me feel better. I'm a hugger, so get ready. It is hard for me to make a decision. I debate, I buy and return, and buy again. I give good gifts. I like to write poetry, but I don't like to share it. I wish I knew more, could do more, lots of things. I hate to read, and am sorry for it. This is who I am. Buh-bye, time to shop...

How to Pay Respect
at Shinto Shrines

1. In appropriate dress,
you proceed along the path
through the Torii Gate.
At Temizusha (the fountain
for absolutions), you rinse
your hands and mouth using
water from the stone basin.
You should not touch the
dipper with your lips
directly.
2. Then you proceed to the
Main Shrine building.
You may throw some coins
into the Offering Box
if you wish.
3. In front of the
Main Shrine, you bow twice.
4. Then you clap your
hands twice.
5. Finally, you bow once
again.
